Hi DJs,

I've always wanted to write on the blog and share with you on things from the bible. Those of you who attended yesterday's service heard from Pastor Prince first hand that he preached on wisdom from God and to increase in wisdom for our daily life, meditate on the Proverbs daily as there are 31 chapters in this book - 1 for each day! :)

Yesterday, I started on Proverbs 1: 1- 7. What did I learn?

Proverbs is given for us to know God's wisdom & instructions, which helps us to grow in Christ and protect us from evil and trouble.

In 1:4, it says that through Proverbs, youths can receive knowledge and discretion (which is learning to do and say the right thing at the right time). Sometimes when you are unsure if you should do or say certain things, what should help you to decide? Answer: God's wisdom. :)

Let's put learning more about God's wisdom as our top priority. If you are not sure how to, start reading the book of Proverbs and do your research on the bible on what the verses mean. As Pastor says, the first sign of a person receiving wisdom from God is when he/ she begins to value and treasure the presence of God in his/ her life. That's my prayer for every one of you in DJ - to walk in God's wisdom and be grounded in His ways.
