Camp Ended.

it's so hard to believe that it was actually five days.
it passed in a blink of an eye D:

the time spent with my caregroup is something that i'll cherish forever.
All the breakout sessions. i'll remember forever.

I love it how we are family, and can trust each other with whatever.
We shared our deepest darkest secrets and worries, cos we know that it'll only remain within us.
and also that these are our friends that will help us in every situation and give us the advice that we need.

Even though this camp had no games, i'm sure all of us received a lot from the services (:

Many things happened during this camp, and not all good.
But i really feel that God helped us grow after overcoming so many problems.
Problems that not only one person can solve, but needs support from other people.
So through this camp, God grew us TOGETHER as a DG(:

Big girls dont whine!

Chapter one!

-Hey girls! Its crystal here! I have been reading this book!
Its awesome!
This book teach us how to be the big girl that god want us to be.
So lets get started!

-God has the same heart toward girls. His plan for us is that we will grow up,not just fromlittke girl to big girls,but from little girls ti big girls who can step into all he desires us to be. =)
Throughou the process he is always with us,gently nuding us with compassion and help until we can get it for ourselves.

This is what god hve in mind for us girls!

God knew what he was doing when he created you and me...
No matter how long is your journey has been so far,he has been beside you all the while.
Listening standing back watching and waiting.
He,like any good father will never overpower your will. He launches you.
HE LOVES YOU.
God created you and equipped you to make ggod choices.
Sometimes we make messes that bring us pain....
Even so he want the bets for you and always call you for a higher place
always make a way for you to become the woman he has in mind.
That's why we can be so sure that every detail of our life is something good.

Maturity is god's plan.....
God never create anything to remind in a immature state.
Immaturity longs to be older,wiser,bigger and more in control.
Maturity is being older,wiser,bigger, and more in control.
Immaturity is dependence
Maturity is independence.
Immaturity is impulsive choices based on emotional reaction.
Maturity is full experience and delight.
Hmm,, I prefer maturity.

The great thing about becoming a big girl is that god knows that we are becoming!
And being a big girls is all about living life to the fullest in all ways,in all places, and in all situations!

When we grow,things will never be the same.
You cant escape change.
Once you have become a big girl, you will love it so
much,there is no way you will go ak being a little girl.
Some people just cant handle change,even when it is good.

Bible Study on the book of Proverbs (Wisdom)

Hi DJs,

I've always wanted to write on the blog and share with you on things from the bible. Those of you who attended yesterday's service heard from Pastor Prince first hand that he preached on wisdom from God and to increase in wisdom for our daily life, meditate on the Proverbs daily as there are 31 chapters in this book - 1 for each day! :)

Yesterday, I started on Proverbs 1: 1- 7. What did I learn?

Proverbs is given for us to know God's wisdom & instructions, which helps us to grow in Christ and protect us from evil and trouble.

In 1:4, it says that through Proverbs, youths can receive knowledge and discretion (which is learning to do and say the right thing at the right time). Sometimes when you are unsure if you should do or say certain things, what should help you to decide? Answer: God's wisdom. :)

Let's put learning more about God's wisdom as our top priority. If you are not sure how to, start reading the book of Proverbs and do your research on the bible on what the verses mean. As Pastor says, the first sign of a person receiving wisdom from God is when he/ she begins to value and treasure the presence of God in his/ her life. That's my prayer for every one of you in DJ - to walk in God's wisdom and be grounded in His ways.

If you have any questions or things that you want to share after reading the Proverbs, feel free to share with me and the other DJs.

Remember, a Proverb a day, keep us wise and favoured everyday ;)

Psalms 91:1-16 - the ark of the covenant is a picture of Jesus shedding his blood for all of us.

So we can BELIEVE
that we can have every healing
no matter how big or how small
because Jesus already died for us!

Jesus offered himself as a sacrifice for us all, and it was perfect.
he then rose again, and SAT DOWN at the father's right hand.
Sitting down shows that work has been done (:

Hey DJ,
you are the righteousness of God,
so NOBODY, not even the Devil (or devillish behaviours)
can move you away from God.

Speak the word of God, and there shall be power.

Hebrews 9:1-5 - manna signifies God's provision
Aaron's rod signifies God's leadership in our lives

See all these things, they are covered by the mercy seat. if we do wrong, we're covered by GOD.

When you're believing God for something, God will answer.
You're on your way there, so if you don't see it yet, DON'T COMPLAIN! (:

know that God will always provide for you.
just like how he provided for his people in the wilderness, even if they complained.
what more for you?
All the complains you have in your life,
God does not see it anymore.
he sees the blood of Jesus.

hebrews 4
Once a year, the high priest will go into the holy of holies.
he'll bring the golden censer.
and the incense rising up from it is protecting the high priest.

Psalms 141:2 - Lifting up my hands as the evening sacrifice.
God's power is released when you start praying to him!
so let his power flow(:

When praying for the sick, don't look at how good YOU are.
look at how good GOD is.

have you ever wondered why do we always pray ' in jesus name'?
hmmmm. cos he is like a brand, so you're saying "yes, and amen" to all of his promises.
and jesus is praying for you!
how awesome is it :D

He took the censer, and stood in between the living and the dead.

DG outing/ Dominic Birthday Celebration

Today is the Dg Outing for my birthday's celebration!
Actually supposed to be held at my house,
but my sister won the "custody". She have 20+ friends.
Then i must go out and celebrate.

JunWei, Joel, Darrel, Wanli & Lynette turned up :D
Im so happy lah. True friends :)
So we were at Long John's, Yew Tee Point.
We were talking about the Soya Bean ice-cream
Lynette was eating. It looks gross. But it taste great okay!

So then we discussed about where to go.
& we decided, CDens!
We will bowl & play Lazer Quest!
So we set off with a happy heart!
BUT, some foreign people booked the
Lazer Quest room till 8.30pm.
The bowling alley was booked by this
club as they have competition.

Then we were like, "Oh man."
So we were like arguing where to go next.
Then i want to go Bird Park,
but Joel wants to go Snow City.
Wan Li & Lynette wants to go to
Science Centre, Da Vinci code exhibition.
I loose liao loh.
All at Science Centre there.

When we reached there, we were like,
"Excuse me? Bird park is soooooo lousy and hot."
Then Lynette will go,
"Hello? Would you rather freeze to death or get free Sauna?!"
Then Wanli will go,
"Okay, listen. The Exhibition's temperature is okay okay. Lets go!"

Then we go argueing again.
SO, i suggested to go somewhere inbetween both
Snow City & the exhibition.
THE OMNI THEATRE.
Woohoo. We spent 14 dollars in Omni & Movie Rider.
It was boring, but we made it memoriable!

After that, we walked to Jurong Mrt.
then we headed to Yew Tee!
Took alot of photos.
But blogger got problems.
So cannot upload. Upload next post :D

Wanli got off at Choa Chu Kang.
She's going out. Haisyoh.

Everybody else went to my house.
We drank abit of water, ate Chicken.
Then Joel & Lynette went off.
Darrel & Jun Wei stayed and watch stupid videos from
my folders.

Overall: Fun!
I think God really brought us together,
& strenghten our relatonships. It was worth it.
I do encourage people to come to this type of
meeting, that includes many of out Dg's members:D

have to attend the H1N1 Preperation Meeting
in her school.
Secondly is about the H1N1.

IM SORRY, YET HAPPY, BUT THE STUDY SEMINAR IS CANCELED.
It is important you see, thats why im not that happy.
However, seminars about studies will usually be boring.
But dont worry. Cause is postponed to somewhere
in July. Date is not confirmed.
Its cancelled cause of H1N1 too.

Please pray hard that everything is alright.
I know, when school closes, you be over the moons.
Well, SO AM I. But, if it really closes, things might get very bad.

Remember Pastor Prince said something about the 4 horses?
The first 3 horses, (War, Fake Preaching & Famine) has taken placed.
the last one is something like, when a serious
illness is created & it cannot be cured.
Only then, Jesus will come back to earth
to save its people. Its so serious that once you
contract it, you cannot live anymore.

I dont know whats into me either, just afraid of H1N1.

Dare GOD Talent : Dg Project

Dare God Talent is a mini competition
among the DGs to showcase the major talents
& what our DG can do! According to my point of view,
I think our DG is very talented! Some of you suggested
Dancing, & I suggested Singing. Why dont we
put both together.

I was think maybe Me & Crystal
sing, the rest dance?
We will showcase of item the next Dare,
before service. Pre Service stuff.
Which is in 2 weeks time!
We'll discuss it on the DG outing.

DeeJay Outing : @ Lynette's House!

It will be on the Thursday, 25th June.
It will be from 4pm to 9pm.
Be at Yew Tee by 4pm.
Then call Lynette and tell her the stuff,
she will pick you up.

This outing is also very important as we
have to discuss about our item we have to present
2 weeks later. Please stay to the time given :D
But if you cant stay, you may go
WITH VALID REASON.

Attached are the lyrics to 4 songs. All of them are songs that we sing a lot for the youth ministry services! They’re selections chosen from NCC’s “I see Grace” and “Gospel Revolution” album, as well as Hillsong United’s “Valley By the Sea” EP, and. All of which you can easily purchase from the Tape counter or the Rock bookstore.

§ Please learn and prepare all the songs as we’ll be choosing and hearing them randomly.

§ Learn to sing the song as closely to the original as possible, by that we mean the version sung in the original CDs.

§ Lyrics are allowed! You can bring them with you to the audition.

Please do acknowledge this email with an “Ok, I’ll be there!” so that I’ll know you’re coming.

However if you are unable to make it, do let me know as soon as possible and I’ll reschedule you for a later date.

I just want you guys to know that it's been an awesome journey, i really had fun with you guys for the past 1 year plus and i seriously enjoyed myself =) and do you know that you all have also been a blessing to me? in all your different ways...and i want you to know that each and everyone of you have grown..to be a man..a woman of god..and someone who's mighty in his kingdom. Different accessories every week, (hat, vest, watch etc.)
Type of bags is also include. (Sling, haversack(sp?) etc.)
- Colours
Deifferent colour codes, for eg, Black & White. Its a usual stuff.
If i never like, sent any msg regarding the colourcode, just wear that.

Hahah, maybe during camp, or even normal services,

Hello :D Dominic here to recap about the sermon today :D
Today is basically talking about Faith and "Yes & Amen".
Cause with Faith, you'll go far. Far. Far away.
Not have faith that you'll fail leh :/
HAVE FAITH IN HIM.
Cause You can i all things, THROUGH CHRIST.
And do not fear if he forsakes you.
Cause he wont! He promises lah :D
HE'S GOD :D he's not like adults in the world
THAT DONT KEEP THEIR PROMISE. hahah. JUST KIDDING.

And say more Amen & Yes in church and service!
Cause saying Amen is like a magic word, to recieve Blessings.
its like, completeing a Blessing.

Everyone reading will have a prosperous life. AMEN.
You will live till 120! HAPPILY! AMEN!

for the light to shine in.
OPEN THAT WINDOW ! Let the light, flow in !
Keep saying "I have the mind of Christ".
Say it & believe it. God will ork in you :D

The word of the Lord makes LOTS of miracles.
Its true! There's evidence in the Bible!
Expose yourself to the word of God.
Meditate on it.
Believe it.
Then you will be blessed SUPPPPPERLY !

I mean. Though i was sleeping in the first 20 minutes
due to my tiredness, i recieved ALOT in the remaining hours !

This was the few points that were IMPORTANT. To me.

Amen came from the word Aman.
Its a Hebrew word. It means "Believe".
Amen, in English means "So Be It".
So when you say Amen, it actually means
that you're believing on that particular thing/situation/outcome/whatever
and you are confirm that it will happen.
You dont have to say Amen in church only. You can say it anywhere.
So long you believe, and you know it will happen, through Christ. (SAY AMEN)

In Church, if you just sit there...
dont do anything...
and listen...
YOU MUST BELIEVE IN IT.
SAY AMEN. And you will be blessed in church (:
Trust me. He is too real for you to not believe him.

What happens in the future depend on your TONGUE.
Say it. Believe it. Then priase God for it (:
Will you live till 120 years old?
Will you have a long a blissful life?
Will you be succesfull?
It all depend on your tongue !

YO DJ!!! wow i still feel quite tired..haha. Anyway, i just want to say that i'm really proud of you guys, even those that did not go for camp, im still proud of you =) i'm sure you recieved your portion during camp and it has made you a different person, so walk it out..you're not the same anymore! =) i really enjoyed myself too and thanks for being a blessing to me..all of you in your own different ways and you know somthing, if i were to choose a dg all over again, it would still be DJ =) Thank you DJ...each and everyone of you...you're blessed to be a blessing, not only to me but to a lot of other people too.

Its a tired and yet fun camp right ? I enjoyed the service
better actually :/ I really thinks Pastor Benjamin is a very annoited and
blessed pastor. The Lord's message was very well explained to us
by Pastor Benjamin ! I mean , despite the temperature of the room ,
I still focused a lot . It was FREEZING COLD , and it did not distract me from
hearing the lord's words . I enjoyed the "3 keys of Authorithy" service the most .
In case you forgot , this are the three keys.

#3 Keys of Authority

#1 key : Live By The Word Of GOD (:
#2 key : Submit Yourself To The Lord, Elders & Yourself (:
#3 key : Hear The Voice of Authority From Heaven (:

-Live by the word of GOD , Let HIM take over your life,
So you have authority to many, many things.

-Submit yourself to him and he will bless you
for he is GOD (:
Submit yourself to your elders, they knows whats best for you (:
Submit to yourself and dont stop yourself from doing what you like (:
Of course , there must be limits to doing the things you like.
too much of it is not good (:

-Hear the only voice of authority from Heaven.
God runs Heaven, remember? So he will lead you to
wonderful thing.

Its that simple to have authority !
Other than this , there is still something that is more important
having authority.

It is Faith.

Without faith, you will have low self-esteem.
Have faith in him, and your self-esteem will rise up.
Only believe what the bible had said about you.
For it is the truth. Have faith.

hey DJ!!! wow...thanks crystal for updating us on the message that pastor dan had shared at DARE. YES! and camp's only a few hours away..so i really want you guys to just pray to ask god what you want to expect and recieve at camp. Come to camp with a recieving heart, be ready to recieve so much more than you can ever expect because our God is a God of the much more amen? I'm sure we're going to have a fun filled time at camp not because we make it a good camp but its because of jesus, let jesus be the centre of our lives okie. Believe we'll walk out of the camp a different person, as mighty men of god. And for the other people not going for camp, its ok!!!!
